School Mascot

Poulsbo Elementary School's mascot is the whale, representing the school's location near Puget Sound and its commitment to marine conservation and environmental awareness. The school uses the whale as a symbol of strength, wisdom, and grace, and encourages its students to learn about and respect the ocean and its inhabitants. The whale is also a reminder of the rich Native American heritage of the area, as the orca is considered a sacred animal to the local tribes. Poulsbo Elementary School takes great pride in its mascot and incorporates it into various school events and activities.
